Flag football offers the thrill of traditional football without the physical contact. The sport emphasizes speed, strategy and agility. Its non-contact nature fosters inclusivity and allows players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the excitement of the game. Through its flag football program, Department of Parks and Recreation emphasizes a season of skill-building, teamwork, fun and community in a safe and enjoyable environment. 

Registration Information

Registration: May 15 - June 10 
Late Registration (additional fees): June 11 - June 15
Parents/Guardians must register participants with their local booster club.
Volunteers are encouraged to coach by signing up through their local booster club. For more information, visit Coaches Corner.  

Ages: 5 - 15
Cutoff Date: August 1

Practice begins in August
Season will take place from August - October.

General Information 

Flags will be provided by the Department of Parks and Recreation to team coaches, who will distribute the flags.

• 5-6 East Bank - Wednesday or Saturday 
• 5-6 West Bank - Wednesday or Saturday  
• 7-8 - Tuesday or Thursday 
• 9-10 -Tuesday or Thursday
• 11-12 - Monday or Wednesday 
• 13-15- Monday or Wednesday 

Note: In the event there are not enough participants to make teams for a league, registrants will be refunded.
