The St. Charles Parish Department of Parks and Recreation is thrilled to announce its partnership with Kidcam Camps to provide a summer camp program full of activities for residents this summer at Lakewood Elementary School.   

The 9-week camp runs from May 28 through July 26 and is open to campers ages 5-13 with activities scheduled to promote fun, fitness, friendship and creativity. 

This year, campers will be “Camping through the Decades” and will celebrate 50 years of Kidcam Camps through a schedule filled with sports activities, creative arts, STEM, team-building games and more that will take campers back in time for some old-school fun and camp traditions.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Registration for the camp is open online at https://www.kidcamcamp.com/camp-locations-1/lakewood-elementary-school. Parents are encouraged to register campers before March 31 for the most savings.

A non-refundable one-time registration fee of $60 for the first child and $45 for each additional child must be paid before selecting camps weeks. St. Charles Parish residents should register children separately and pay the registration fee before selecting weekly tuition dates using code SCPRESIDENTREG at checkout for a $20 registration discount. Once the registration fee is paid, go to the system to select your child’s camp schedule. 

Parents or guardians must pay weekly tuition online to secure a camper’s place in a week, and enrollment is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates are $160 per week, $144 for siblings and $144 if paying for 3+ weeks. For 15% off weekly tuition, use code SCPRESIDENTWEEK at checkout.
