German Coast Farmers Market

The West Bank Bridge Park is home to the German Coast Farmers Market on Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Visitors can expect a vibrant market with a wide range of fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers and more weekly at the Farmers Market. Pickleball

St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation currently provides two locations for pickleball courts - the East Bank Bridge Park and Monsanto Park. With four new courts coming to the West Bank Bridge Park in Spring 2024, pickleball players are sure to have many opportunities to stay out of the kitchen and enjoy some friendly competition. 

Those interested in playing at Monsanto Park should pick up a key at the Edward A. Dufresne Community Center during normal business hours (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday). 

Residents are encouraged to reserve their courts through www.reservemycourt.com.  

Courts are open daily from 6 a.m. - 10 p.m. For more information on how to reserve a court, click here.  

Tennis

Leisure tennis is currently available at Monsanto Park and the East Bank Bridge Park. There will be new courts coming to the West Bank Bridge Park in Spring 2024 once Phase I of the West Bank Bridge Park Improvements are complete.

Walk the Gym

The Edward A. Dufresne Community Center Gymnasium is currently closed for walking while construction and repairs from Hurricane Ida continue. Once the gym is reopen, residents will be able to walk Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. No sign up is required.
