Swamp School

Swamp School helps kids ages 8 through 12 develop an appreciation for the natural world through a balance of educational and entertaining outdoor adventures, canoeing, creative activities, field games and more at Wetland Watchers Park in Norco. Camp is held in early summer. Campers must bring a bag lunch, full water bottle and snack, closed-toe tennis shoes, raincoat, sunscreen and bug spray. No electronics are allowed. The following Swamp School Session's will open on the following dates for registration and will remain open until the max is reached. All registrations will open online at midnight (12:00 a.m.) on the selected dates. We understand the popularity of the camp and the number of campers registering in at one time. However campers registered will be by a first come, first served basis. 

Location: The adventure takes in the front of the Bonnet Carre Spillway, 101 Lower Guide Levee Road, Norco, La. 70079

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.   

Campers: All campers must be 8 – 12

Supplies: Each day, campers must bring:

  • Bag lunch, full bottle of water and a snack
  • Closed toe tennis shoes and a raincoat.
  • Sunscreen and bug spray (preferably applied each day before camp)

NO electronics are allowed (phones, iPods, etc.)

Payments and Fees:

  • Swamp School registration is $200 per week.
